Micro CHP systems
Micro CHP stands for Micro Combined Heat and Power. Micro CHPs generate hot water and electricity at the same time, making them a highly energy-efficient addition to the home. While heating your home, a Micro CHP can provide 900 kw of electrical energy – about 10% of an average household's daily requirement.
How it works
Micro CHPs are close cousins of the traditional boiler, using gas or electricity to heat the home’s water supply and underfloor/radiator heating.
Why it’s good
- Clean and efficient
- Reliable
- Self-managing – integrated microprocessor
- Effective heat output
- Compact – about the size of a dishwasher
- Quiet
