Basic Energy Assessment

If you need professional energy advice, and you’re just starting to think about making energy-efficient changes to your home, this is the option for you. A Right House assessor will visit your home and review its energy performance. We'll undertake a 45 step checklist that includes home design, orientation, insulation, heating, hot water, lighting and appliances. We'll then put together a report describing any energy efficient improvements you can make, whatever your budget.

Thermal Assessment

Suspect a problem with your home? Using a lot of electricity but you don't have a warm house? We'll come out and undertake a Right House Energy Assessment with the assistance of a thermal imaging camera to assess your home's energy-efficiency and heating performance. Our camera can spot the leaks that your heat (and wallet!) have already found.

Blower Door Test

A Blower Door Test is used to measure the airtightness of homes and buildings and to help locate air leakages.  The findings from a Blower Door Test is used to reduce energy consumption, avoid moisture condensation problems and identify leaks and draughts.
